Ambulance Cost Data Collection Webinar: Service Area and Response Time

Service area and response times are familiar topics for those in EMS.  Response times are a common topic of conversation and debate between EMS agencies and communities everywhere. Ambulance services are required to measure and report response times for a variety of reasons.  All ambulance services might not all be doing the measuring and reporting in the same way, however. During the webinar on Thursday, March 12th at 2:00 PM EST, the ACE Faculty will walk you through the CMS definition of response times and the questions services will be asked in the CMS Cost Collection tool.  The Faculty will also help you answer those questions accurately.

ACE Faculty will also cover the CMS definition of primary and secondary service areas in this webinar.  By the end of the webinar, attendees will understand what constitutes a primary service area v. a secondary service area.  ACE Faculty can even answer questions about your area, specifically. Attendees will also learn how these definitions translate to the questions CMS is asking through their data collection tool.
